    This necklace is a little darker purple than shown in the picture although I still like it. It looks more like rock candy than an amethyst nugget. But if it's a casual look you're going for this is nice. I especially like the length it can be doubled if you like and it doesn't have a clasp so it's easy to put on. For the money I do recommend it if you need something to go with purple or want to spice up a boring color. - Cher, Nuevo CA
