Finally, a perfectly cooked loaf of bread! The typical 9x5 loaf pan always left me with uncooked batter in the middle. This longer shape bakes evenly and the spring form allows you to remove it entirely for a beautiful presentation. Due to other reviewers' complaints of leakage, I put it on a cookie sheet, but my batter didn't leak one bit. Clean up was a breeze. I can't wait to make my next loaf. Highly recommend! -

springform loaf baking pan
I have been wanting a springform loaf pan for years and was pleased when I found this one. I would give this item a 5 star rating if it didn't leak liquids out the bottom edge. The oval isn't shaped to fit the bottom perfectly so you can see gaps when closed that allows liquids to flow right out. I think it's a little over priced for the quality your getting! Having said that it still works great when baking bread and since I do bake a lot of bread I will get plenty of use out of it. I haven't had it long enough yet to see how the metal will hold up or if it will rust over time. I like it for baking bread but wish I had just went out and bought a higher end one that will allow you to bake anything you want to in it without the worry of having to clean up a mess from leakage afterward and having your time and trouble as well as ingredients wasted if your trying to bake anything other then bread. -
Liked it till I used it
I found this difficult to clean. Where the pan is seamed together batter had oozed into it and was difficult to remove. I wouldn't buy this again. -
Not high quality
The frame did not fit the bottom tightly so if I do not line wuth parchment paper the batter leaks onto the base assembly. -
Looks are deceiving
The pan is appealing looking. I liked the size. How ever the pan does not seal, therefore, leaking batter into the oven. -
2nd use--the nonstick coating came off on m
The first time I used this it was great. Bread came out perfectly. I loved the longer loaf. I was thrilled. Couldn't wait to make more. BUT...the second time was a disaster. The non-stick coating came off and stuck to my bread. I didn't do anything different from the first time. I had no choice but to throw it out. -
