The clever design of this handy hose lets you use it as a sprinkler or soaker! Place it facing upwards, and it produces a fine spray that's perfect for lawns, narrow beds, borders and long strips of land. Or, place it facing downward, and the hose works as a soaker to slowly water deeply into the soil to soak the roots of your plants. The 50-foot hose includes a small spike to keep it in place and rolls up for storage. PVC.
NICE SOAKER HOSE
ORDERED THIS TO USE IN MY BACKYARD TO WATER MY MOHOGANY TREE AND OTHER PLANTS. WITH IT TURNED UPSIDE DOWN, THE WATER SOAKS INTO THE GROUND AND DOES NOT SHOOT UP INTO THE AIR. THIS IS GOOD FOR ME AS WE HAVE WATERING RESTRICTIONS AND TIMES THAT WE CAN WATER. I LIKE BEING ABLE TO RUN THIS WHEN I WANT TO AND NO ONE CAN SEE THAT IT IS ON...SHAME ON ME BUT I AM OLD, THERE IS A WASP NEST IN MY RAINBIRD, AND I AM NOT GOING OUT THERE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT TO RUN THE WATERING DEVICES AT THEIR DESIGNATED TIMES. -
Have not used this item as yet. -
Red Bluff, CA
waters a small area very well -
Ordered 2. Gardner cut both of them in half with weed wacker. The picture is not a good representation of the water flow. It covered a large enough area so I am ordering 2 more but I wish there was something else on the market that really was a good sprinkler system. -
I have ordered many things over the years from collectionsetc, and have always been very pleased and satisfied with everything I have received except this hose. Water does not come out of it as pictured. It only comes out in one very tiny stream . I tried to turn it over to use as a soaker hose and it still did not put out enough water in an hour to water my plants in the flowerbed. It is so flimsy that it will turn itself over from soaker to spray in spots when the water is turned on. My flowerbed is in full sun all day and does not need water on the leaves in the sun. Since I got it on sale it isn't worth the money to return it. I threw it away. I am totally disappointed and sorry I have to write a bad review. -
