Review for TacVisor car sun visor
It took me awhile to figure out how to flip the visors up and down for various lighting conditions. The bottom of the visor seems to line up with my eyes, and not below my chin where I expected it. Maybe I'm too short
(5ft 4") ?? However, it did cut the glare while driving, no matter where the sun was. So far I've only tested it in daylight driving - so I can't evaluate the night-driving benefits yet. -
Yes, I'd purchase this again
I don't normally do this so it will be short.
All went well and I like the product. Haven't put it on the visor as of yet.
Will do that this weekend in hopes it does not interfere with the visor mirror. -
There's a glare on the on the product
There they work good but there's a glare that you see his reflection they don't care for -
As shown on TV,
I would buy again, but knowing how to "fix
I found the mirrorlike effect in the daytime visor uncomfortable, so put it a little sideways and it worked, also lifted it a bit and looked at regular windshield under it, so it actually reduced the glare and allowed me to see better. It needs a non'slip material under the clip so you can't accidentally knock it off -- just glue it on the inside of the clop. -
Did not like the product.
Found it awkward to use and with the tac piece, I could see my reflection was I was driving. Also, it picks up every fingerprint. My husband's truck is an older model and the visor was too thick for the clip to attach properly. -
I would not buy this again
It works okay but not as well as advertised -
I would not buy this product again
It is awkward to fit on the sun visor... It slips down while I'm driving down the road (road hazard). -
Jan the step mom,
Wish it was better made
The sheilds do work as pdo oted. BUT they are not wide enough for effective coverage while driving. AND THE CONNECTING SIDE ON CLIP SNAPPED OFF MAMING IT IMPOSSIBLE TO USE. -
Don't waste your money.
I've had the tacvisor for about 2 weeks and it's already falling apart. Definitely not worth the money. -
while unit is up - bad reflection - when down could seen everything in back seat - while down, cuts into my vision - while driving on "rough grooved" surfaces due to construction unit kept falling down. Not worth the shipping to send it back. -
Would not buy again or recommend.
Clip on visor does not fit visors that are thicker, such as ones with mirrors. Squeezed it barely on and it popped odd while I was driving in traffic and fell on my steering wheel. Tried again with same results and it now resides in my trunk. -
