I AM LOVING THIS!
THESE GRASS MATS ARE GREAT! TO ME, THEY LOOK MORE LIKE A GROUND COVER THAN BLADES OF GRASS, BUT THAT MAKES THEM EVEN BETTER. THE MATS THEMSELVES AS WELL AS THE "SPRIGS" OF THE GRASS ARE PVC, SO THEY ARE EASY TO SHAPE WITH SCISSORS IF THEY NEED TO BE CUT. I AM USING MINE AS A GROUND COVER BETWEEN A WALKWAY I HAVE BUILT FROM BRICK STEPPING STONES AND A ROW OF BRICK PAVERS. IT IS WORKING OUT VERY WELL, I AM WAITING FOR MY SECOND ORDER OF THREE SETS OF THE GRASS MATS TO FINISH MY PROJECT, TO WHICH I WILL THEN ADD GAZING BALLS, ORNAMENTAL FAUX GRASSES (PINK AND WHITE PAMPAS, TIMOTHY BUNDLE, AND THREE COLORS OF WHAT LOOKS LIKE THATACHAHATCHEE GRASS IN RED, YELLOW-GREEN AND GREEN. WHEN FINISHED, IT SHOULD BE A QUITE PRETTY ENTRY WAY INTO MY FRONT PORCH. THE REASON I DID THIS IS TO WIDEN MY SIDEWALK WHICH HAS NEVER BEEN IN THE RIGHT PLACE FOR SOMEONE TO WALK ON IT TO THE FRONT OF THE HOUSE FROM THE DRIVEWAY, AS THE MATURE BUSH AT THE CORNER OF THE GARAGE COVERS THE SIDEWALK, EVEN WHEN PRUNED BACK. THE PICTURES I AM POSTING WITH THIS SHOW THE PROJECT IN PROGRESS. NOW I AM NO CONSTRUCTION WORKER, BUT THIS GETS THE JOB DONE AND WILL BE A PERMANENT, DECORATIVE AREA THAT COVERS UP PART OF MY YARD. IF I HAD MY WAY, I WOULD COVER IT ALL UP AND HAVE NO REAL GRASS. ONE CAN SEE FROM THE PICTURES THAT THIS IS THE DRY SEASON IN FL. AND THERE HAS BEEN RAIN ONLY TWICE IN THREE MONTHS. THERE IS NOT ONE LIVING BLADE OF GRASS. THAT WILL CHANGE WHEN THE RAINY SEASON COMES AND IT WILL GROW AND FILL IN AROUND THE WALKWAY AND THE GRASS MATS. I WILL POST ANOTHER PICTURE WHEN ALL IS FINISHED.EVERYTHING I AM USING IN THIS IS FROM COLLECTIONS ETC EXCEPT THE BRICK PAVERS. -
REALLY LIKE THIS
I HAVE ORDERED THIS SEVERAL TIMES AND USED IT AS A BORDER AROUND A LITTLE BRICK CORNER PATHWAY I BUILT OUT FROM MY SIDEWALK AS SOME BUILDERS JUST DON'T REALIZE WHERE PEOPLE ARE GONNA WALK WHEN THEY DESIGN PATHS, THEY PLANT BUSHES THAT GROW HUGE AND COVER THE SIDEWALK. THAT IS WHAT HAPPENED TO ME, EVEN WITH PRUNING. SO I BUILT WHERE IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE FIRST PLACE OUT OF BRICKS AND PAVER STONES, I STILL HAVE SOME SOLAR GAZING BALLS AND GRASSES TO PUT OUT THERE. HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THE LAWN SERVICE TO TRIM MY PALMS SO THEY DO NOT STEP ON MY STUFF, THEY ARE NOT VERY CAREFUL.I WILL POST PICTURES OF THE FINISHED PROJECT WHEN I AM DONE. -
Ideal for a faux lawn area
Part of our outdoor summer décor. This area we do not walk on so this item works great. If you plan to walk on it however this is not for you. -

Pricey But Nice
Just snaps together - be sure to check those dimensions as it isn't very big - looks nice enough. didn't rate it high as it is a lot to spend for the size. -
They served the purpose in the area I needed them in -
