Grease Strainer Pot
I had one of these many years ago and lost it in a move. We love to cook with bacon grease and this is perfect for straining and keeping it good. Love it and I have no complaints at all. Highly recommend. -
Good to have
Never knew what to do with cooking oil used for frying. Didn't want to leave it in the pot, or throw out good oil into the trash. Now with the oil pot I can keep the oil in it. And it still looks nice sitting on counter. -
I will recommend this to friends
Husband loves it -
Exactly what I was looking for!
I bought this for my mother for Christmas. She had worn out two others and had bin looking for another for almost a year. I had looked at others online and they were $20 or more. This was just what she wanted and she couldn't be happier. -
Fantastic Backpacking pot & mug
This works great for boiling water for dehydrated foods, or as a pot to cook in. It holds 32 oz, works on alcohol stoves, MSR Whisperlite & Dragonfly stoves, Coleman 1 burner propane stove. It's also easy & comfortable to use as a coffee cup for 16 oz coffee or hot chocolate. I am buying a second pair, and 2 more alcohol stoves, for our winter emergency kits. An alcohol stove and several packets of hot chocolate and sm jar of instant coffee plus a few more small items fits in it. It has a loose fitting lid, not push or snap on, so I made it a carry bag that also holds them closed. We do use silicone 'fingers & thumb mitt' things for handling it right off the fire, tho most of the time it isn't really needed. We're extremely pleased with these pots. -
Can't do without this in the kitchen!
My brother loves fried chicken, but was pooring out the grease afterwards. Couldn't figure out why his chicken didn't taste like our grandmothers until I sent him this grease pot and told him how to make his chicken "homestyle"!! -
My little grease pot
I use the grease pot to drain grease off foods. I have been looking for a red grease pot-any suggestions?
I am enjoying this one until I find a red one, I'll keep looking. -
very attractive grease can
Use to collect drippings for other great recipes -
nice oil container
I like this as it looks so much better than a glass pickle jar with nasty oil in it that you have to look at. My friend I bought this for really likes it too. He's the reason I bought it. His bright idea was the pickle jars! -
Just what we were looking for!
We cook a lot outside and were looking for something to pour our cooking oil in. this is just what we wanted. -
Strtain & Save
I wanted a pot to strain oil in after use so I could use it a couple of times before discarding. This pot is the right size and I like the fine mesh screen, but I wish the lid fit a little tighter. It is so loose that if knocked over the oil will spill everywhere. -
Grandfma in Pamplin,
been looking for one of these
great for strain your grease -
It serves its purpose of straining oil, but not sure how long it will last. Bought four to give as gifts and frankly will feel bad giving as a sole gift so will gift with something else. Looks like a dollar store buy! -
I'm disappointed in this product.
I used this product for the first time and when I washed it the screes rusted. Yuck! -
