The holographic finish on this pair of guard owls helps to scare off uninvited visitors to your garden with flashes of light and the illusion of movement. A bell at the bottom adds another layer of protection when the wind blows. PVC. Each approx. 7 3/4"L x 16"H.
I'm using it to dissuade a woodpecker from invading a tree wound. Although I have heard the woodpecker just once, it is iridescent and neighbors have remarked how much they like them. I have taken down a couple times when we have a strong wind so they don't blow away. Durable so far. -
Thes things actuallly work!
I have had deer problems for years. The deer think my flowers are their salad bowl and so far nothing I have used have deferred them. I ordered another set of these guard owls for our yard because they actually do work. -
I would and have bought this item
I bought this product to keep birds off of our deck they work wonderful. No birds nest and they will not even come close to our deck. I have several extra. I put them in our trees around the house and that works also. Very happy with them . Thanks Collections,ETC for stocking them was getting then through another vendor but they discontinued them. -

My mother was sure it would frighten the turkey vultures. Doesn't. Other birds aren't afraid of it. Doubt the mice see it. -

Does not is that reflective as shown on pic
I bought them to scare squirrels and it did not do the work -
Would not buy again
The reflective part come off after one day of using in garden. -
These are not real sturdy!
Hang out in my garden. In the wind, the grommet tore away from the owl and it blew into the yard.
I have had these in the past from another source and they were sturdier. -
I do not think so.
After a weeks worth of use, the reflective holograph film tore off. -
Don't waste your money
Threw both owls away. Reflective coating peeled right off. -
mrs icec cream,,
Only had it for less than a month and the foil backing came apart. -
Did not hold up
Winds are strong in Colorado all the reflective film just ripped off within a week. It is still hanging up and the movement alone is keeping the birds away but looks pretty ripped up and ugly now. -
