Here's a decorative and low-maintenance way to eliminate burrowing pests in your yard. This delightful sunflower-shaped stake emits a low, audible beep and a sonic pulse that can't be heard by humans or pets, but irritates moles, gophers and other burrowing rodents, causing them to flee your yard. The solar-powered stake requires no electricity and provides 24-hour protection for up to 650 sq. ft. of your yard. Plastic and aluminum. Includes 1 "AA" battery. 6 1/2"Dia. x 12"H.
I put this in my front yard rock garden. I have not had ant issues with squirrels or other pests since. -

These work! Had a mole problem, but not anymore. No directions - I had only the green tip in the ground, then saw a picture in a different catalog with the entire "stem" buried so that the sunflower sat on the ground. I went half way.
Seems like I have less of an ant problem where I have these staked, but that could be coincidence - I am not making any claims! -
I am amazed how well this works!!!!!
My yard had dirt piles all over from the ground moles. These repellers have scared them away. I bought 3 for two city lots. I am very happy with the product. -
This is a very attractive addition to my ga
I placed these solar sunflowers in my garden to keep the groundhogs from eating my flowers. They are very attractive & hopefully will ward of all rodents. -
surprised how well it works
took a chance on these. so glad we did. they really work -
This product works very well.
This product works great! Not only does it keep ground moles away, it also keeps armadillos away! -
The Solar Repellant is easy to assemble and really works. -

Hate those Moles!
This did not totally get rid of the mole, but I gave it 4 stars because it helped so much as compared to last year, which was horrible! My yard was a mess last year! I do move the stake around if I see a new tunnel which helps. I even ordered 2 for my neighbors and they are happy. The beeping is a little annoying but I got use to it and if it works, I can live with it. Hate those moles and we've tried everything, even had the mole whisperer out and he didn't help!! Again, may not be perfect but huge improvement and I was ready to try anything! -
Crazy thing works
It's a little flimsy, but does an incredible job of making the moles come out and get nabbed by my cat. Pretty much mole suicide to rid themselves of the gosh awful noise. lol. The only thing I hate is the horrible noise it makes when it vibrates. Probably why the moles hate it to. So, I use it sparingly. When the mole population gets to be too much. My cat hates the noise too. -
Kathy in Indy,
Works for me
A different use. A bat that returns every year in summer. Droppings all over front porch, so I hoped that the sound would disturb bat. It
did. Staked it in a flower pot. The off and on shrill worked. Left area. -
Sandy the shopper,
Sometimes it works other times I still have problem with chipmunk -

It is hard to place a rating on this item yet. I'm not sure how it will work. My issue is the description states it is good for 650 sq. ft. of coverage. When I received it the paper in the box said 3 ft. of coverage. I called and after a week sent an email and finally got a response. They said sorry about the response time but it is for 650 sq. ft. I really don't know if this is true or not because there is no way to verify. I just hope it works. -
I put it in my garden and the moles keep making the underground trails either under it or next to it. Not working for moles or voles. Beep is very noticeable. -
Debbie the gardener,
It's looks cute in my garden but the sound is so low. I still had problems with cats coming into my yard. I read the reviews and still decided to pay it. Should have paid attention and not got it. -
Useless and loud
Cannot see that this product does anything, it's loud, neighbors complain about the sound., it's constant and irritating. Have it in the garden. Useless. -
It is an attractive outdoor decor. No proof that it actually keeps rodents away. Did find a rat nest that was built above ground beside the sunflower. Beeping sound every 5 to 10 seconds was annoying. Ended up unhooking connections and using as an outdoor decoration. -
I have problems with chipmunks digging holes in the ground and climbing on my birdfeeders. I put one near each feeder and they are worthless. Chipmunk runs right by it and it does nothing. Very disappointed with it. -
The product we received was totally broke apart and we could not fix it, thus we are unable to use it. Would like it replaced or my money back. Thank you -
Solar Sunflower Garden Stake
Easy to put together, and finding a spot in the yard is also easy. And the squirrels, chipmunks seem to not be bothered by it at all. -
Looks good, but doesn't work
The voles or moles mock me. They laugh in my face because they dig their holes right next to my sunflower rodent repeller. It doesn't repel anything. -
cute but so far ineffective
easy instrutions and assembly, just not effective -
I have out in my lawn and the squirrels will play and sit right next to it. Not worth the money it doesn't work -
Very audible noise
Ended up disconnecting and not using because the noise was too annoying. Every 15 seconds or so, let off a very audible high pitched sound that destroyed the tranquility of my garden. Eventually disconnected and will call pest control expert instead. -
Castle Rock CO
The noise is very annoying. Humans are not suppose to hear it but I can hear the noise 50 feet away. It beeps every 30 seconds. -
