The USS Missouri BB-63 was built for the US navy and is now a museum ship. The last battleship commissioned by the United States, she participated in battles of Iwo Jima and Okinawa. Her deck was the site of the September 2, 1945 surrender of the Empire of Japan which ended WWII.
