This beautiful and unique thermometer uses the principles of buoyancy and density, discovered by Galileo, to read the temperature. As temperatures increase, the density of most liquids decreases. The spheres inside the tube are marked with charms designating temperatures 60º to 90º Farenheit. The lowest floating sphere will tell you the current temperature. Makes a great gift!
